Cepak returns to Byrum & Fisk as communications strategist
Byrum & Fisk Advocacy Communications is pleased to announce the return of Stephanie Cepak to the staff, serving in the role of communications strategist.
“Stephanie is the type of communicator you can put on any project and know she’s capable of doing great work,” said Mark Fisk, partner at Byrum & Fisk. “She knows policy and politics and her recent experience in higher education has only enhanced the portfolio of work she can produce for our clients.”
Cepak is an award-winning journalist who covered the Michigan Legislature for years as a reporter for Gongwer News Service and was a regular correspondent for Off the Record. In her previous role at Byrum & Fisk, Cepak focused on client work related to energy and education.
Cepak most recently served as communications manager for Michigan State University, where she led strategic planning and execution of Honors College communications.
“Working on issues that advance the greater good is where my passion lies and Byrum & Fisk has a proven track record,” Cepak said. “I’m pleased they’ve welcomed me back.”
Cepak recently moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband Anthony and daughters, Morgan and Emerson. She is enjoying mountain living and exploring new waterways. She can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
